It's like the world just received an early Christmas present!

After failing to show up in court on Thursday, a judge has granted TLC's request of a preliminary injunction against Jon Gosselin.

In other words, Jon can't do any more unapproved interviews or pursue other TV deals.

Ha!

The judge seemed to agree with TLC that Jon's behavior was "embarrassing" especially when he showed up at a Las Vegas pool party saying "It made the show look bad. Photos of Jon Gosselin with scores of bikini-clad women was inconsistent with our image brand of our show."

Since Jon's primary lawyer Mark Heller wasn't allowed to practice in Maryland, his other lawyer, Peter Toumbekis argued that his client's lifestlye hadn't done any "irreparable harm" and because of all the controversy it caused ratings to explode.

Luckily the judge didn't buy that bullshiz and with the newly granted injunction TLC is most likely to win when they go to trial against the douchebag in April 2010.

After the judge's decision TLC was happy to release this statement:
"We are pleased with the Court’s ruling today. The Court has validated our view that Mr. Gosselin has a valid, binding contract and that he has breached it repeatedly. Step one — getting the court to order Mr. Gosselin to comply with his contractual obligations — has been accomplished. Any further breaches going forward will be violations of a court order. We look forward to the next phase of the litigation, which is to pursue our claim for damages resulting from Mr. Gosselin's numerous breaches."

Congrats on an early win!

Now if only the judge could have done something to stop Homewrecking Hailey from opening her trap.
