A plea agreement for Charlie Sheen could be made as early as Monday as he is due in court in Aspen, Colorado over his domestic assault charges.

The actor was charged with assaulting his now-estranged wife Brooke Mueller ALLLLL the way back in December '09, but his legal team have been going back and forth trying to strike up a plea bargain so that Charlie didn't have to serve any jail time.

According to sources, Charlie refuses to go to jail so that he can begin shooting Two and a Half Men on August 6 while also being near his twin boys AND his cigarettes.

Yes, that's right. When Charlie found out he was not allowed to smoke in jail, he told his legal team that he was willing to make a plea bargain that would put him on probation.

A court official said that “his appearance is required and we fully expect Mr. Sheen to be here on Monday to appear before Judge James Boyd.”

We hope he makes it to Colorado on Monday, otherwise there could be a warrant out for his arrest!

And we don't want to see Charlie off of cigs!
