Sources are reporting that Charlie Sheen’s lawyers and the Aspen District Attorney’s office are close to reaching a plea deal over his domestic violence case.

Thought negotiations are going well, there is still no word as how the plea might play out for Charlie. Insiders reveal that his lawyer, Yale Galanter, is "pleased" with the progress and is "optimistic" that a fair deal will be reached before his client's next court date, August 2nd.

Considering his lawyers disposition, we imagine this means Charlie won't get any jail time.

And another crime goes unpunished!
